On 8th November 2018, Samsung has unveil its all new Infinity displays along with foldable display in Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) 2018. The infinity displays are available for various type of notches along with no notch display. For upcoming foldable Samsung smartphones Samsung has unveils its foldable display named as "Infinity Flex" display. Samsung has also introduce its all new "ONE UI" for upcoming Samsung smartphones. Before getting into more details let's take a quick look on Samsung display history.
👉Samsung Display History:
In 2011, Samsung has introduced his Super Amoled Plus Display which is used in Samsung Galaxy Note Smartphone and it is upgraded version of previous Super Amoled Display. Further, Samsung has upgrade its from Super Amoled Display to HD Super Amoled Display, Full HD Super Amoled Display and then Quad HD Super Amoled Display in year 2012-2014.
In year 2015, Samsung has launch its Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone in which they have used Quad HD Super Amoled Edge Display. This display is also used in Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Smartphone. In year 2017, Samsung has introduced its Quad HD Super Amoled Infinity Display which gives users more bezel-less experience. Samsung Galaxy S8+ is first smartphone which comes with Infinity Display.

Samsung is launched its upcoming smartphones with new notch displays. Talking about display then Samsung has given each and every type of display to its user but what if user want display which is bigger than smartphone then Samsung comes with the concept of flexible displays. After this Infinity displays Samsung has showcase his all new flexible display smartphone they called this smartphones as "Infinity Flex Display".
Samsung has show a working prototype which has flexible display they hide device design in black case. This smartphone has two display one display comes with 4.58 inches (840 x 1960 resolution) display size when display get unfold then there you get another screen of size 7.3 inches (1536 x 2152 resolution). Samsung is working with Google for app compatibility on Flexible displays.

Since a conventional glass panel isn't pliable, Samsung has built a new material for the cover window that is claimed to be a "flexible and durable" for the new form factor. There is also a unique adhesive that helps enhance the elasticity of the display.
Technically, under the cover window, there is a shock absorbent film, ultra-thin polariser, flexible layer, and a flexible back plane. The polariser in the new setup is also much thinner than what's available on existing Amoled display to enable flexibility.
In this smartphone user get support of using 3 apps simultaneously without minimize or closing any app and they called this feature as "Multi Active Window". This smartphones with All new One UI by Samsung. The new UI optimizes the screen area for better productivity on the go as well. As you unfold the phone, the UI seamlessly transitions into an almost tablet like device giving you more freedom to multitask.

👉Samsung Infinity Flex Display Future:
Samsung has also discussed about future of flexible display. They talk about Outward fold displays, Roll-able displays and also stretchable displays. These displays are more flexible than flex displays they can be roll, stretch or fold easily without any damage.
