     Memory cards is the most easiest way to increase device storage but do you know by doing this you are degrading your device overall performance. Memory cards are used to increase the device storage, it comes in various storage variant and classes. Here, class of memory card denotes the read and write speed. Higher the class higher will be the speed of Memory cards. 

     Mostly people says why we have to invest money for buying higher storage variant devices we can buy cheap Memory cards and increase storage without investing lots of money. By reading this post you would be thinking 10 times after buying any Memory cards. Everyone one knows the benefits of Memory cards so we will only focus on drawbacks of memory cards.

     In today market most of the devices offer good quality storage with high read and write speed. Many users extend their storage with Memory cards which slows down device performance. Here most company offers encryption feature in builtin storage which protects data which is store in device internal storage. If  you want you can encrypt your Memory card but by doing this Memory card data transfer speed get affected which results in degradation overall device performance.

     If you have stored your game files in Memory card then you have to face many issues because the speed of Memory cards are less than internal storage and it is not optimized by device which degrades your device gaming experience.

     The lifeline of Memory cards are limited many users have faced Memory card corrupted issue in half year or in a year. The lifeline of builtin storage are more than external Memory cards there is very rare case of corruption in builtin storage.

Why Companies Are Charging Lots Of Money For Just Increasing Storage?

     There are many companies which offers external Micro SDcard option but you have seen most of flagship phones don't have SDcard slot option because companies wants to deliver high performance devices for that they uses high quality and secured internal storage which optimized it to provide best performance. They don't want their device performance get affected by external SDcards that's why companies like Samsung, Google, Apple etc. provides high quality storage instead of external SDcard slot option.

Is There Anyway That We Can Use External SDcard which Don't Affect That Much On Overall Device Performance?

     Yes, there is one way for that you have to use high quality SDcards such as memory cards of Class 10. Before using it you have to format that SDcard as a internal storage so that google can optimize your SDcards but the drawback is you can't use that Sdcard in other devices.  Only store that data which you use less such as some files that you need rarely like movies and other stuffs and don't store private data in that. Do not store any game files in external SDcards. You have to invest lots of money for that because class that Sdcards are costly so the best option is to buy device with higher internal storage.
