     It's amazing to know that we are upgrading in technology rapidly. From letter to Email, from try and error to simulation, from telephone to smartphones and from low quality picture to high quality videos in every sector we are upgrading more and more. The technology makes our lifestyle easier and comfortable & we are boon to human lifestyle and we are using more and more electronic gadgets but remember one thing that everything in the world has some pro's and con's. The major con's of electronic gadgets are  E-waste and it must be reduce. I have posted a blog on E-waste you can check out blog link provided in labels below. So to reduce e waste here are some tips given below. 

👉 10 Tips to reduce E waste:

1. Buy Less:

     It is easy to buy any electronic gadget like mobile phones, TVs, Laptops etc. But before buying these gadgets just ask yourself that do you really need those electronic devices. Please don't buy electronics gadget until your older gadgets are in good condition. If they got damage then repair those gadgets and use as much as you can.

2. Donate:

     If you want to buy new gadget and your old gadgets are in good or in working you can donate those gadgets to needy people.

3. Store Data Online:

     There are many cloud storage provider like Dropbox, Google Drive, MI cloud etc. are available and also the costing of internet services are getting cheaper day by day we don't require any memory card or a pen-drives to store data you can upload your content on cloud and if you want to share that data just share link of uploaded data this will consume less storage in your gadgets. Now a days smartphone provides large storage option like 128 GB, 256 GB some are offering upto 512 GB of internal storage, so store data in your smartphone and use could services it will reduce the use of memory cards and pen-drives. 

4. Organize Your Electronics:

     Given number of electronics that we stash away in drawers it's no wonder that we forget what items we have in our house. Instead of buying new devices organize your existing ones to see if you really need to buy them. for example you can use your old phone charger or USB cable to charge your device. You can make your own backup led or lamp by using old rechargeable mobile phones batteries. Instead of buying new ram stick you can use your older laptop ram sticks. If you have any older computer you can use that computer hard disk to store huge amount of that which helps to reduce the use of memory cards and pen-drives.

5. Buy Energy Star and Eco friendly Rated Appliances:

     There are many gadgets available in market which comes with energy star and eco-friendly rating. These appliances are eco-friendly to environment and consumes less energy than non rated appliances. Less consumption in energy results is reduction in your electricity bills which saves your money and environment both. 

6. Use Old Phones as Car Multimedia Panel:

     Instead of throwing your phones in drawers you can use your old phone as your car multimedia panel. you can use as a navigator or it can be use to play videos, and musics in your car. 

7. Recycle via Retailer:

     Major retailers recycle computers, mobile phones, and TVs. Some retailers also offer some gift cards on recycling of electronic devices. Just you have to do is ask retailer if they have any buy back program.

8. Sell or Exchange:

     You can sell or exchange your old electronic gadgets while buying a new device by doing this consumer get some gift cards or some discount on new gadgets.

9. Make A Good E bag:

     Create your own E bag on your home where you can collect your E waste or old devices. After a month give that E waste to certified E waste Agency get some rebate or many more benefits. you can also give old devices to needy people.

10. Educate Yourself About Material Used in Electronics:

     Last but not the least every person has to know about what are the material used in electronics gadgets and are these harmful are not. There are some people who goes on changing their smartphones frequently but they don't know by doing this they harm our environment or in directly they harm themselves. Materials which are used in electronics can be recycled or decomposed but there are some material which are toxic in nature and they can't be recycled or decomposed. So each and every person should be aware of these tips.  
    Not only the on E waste peoples has to be focused on other things such as plastic, electricity consumption, deforestation etc. which are effecting environment.
"Want to save yourself then save environment. If you are saving environment the environment will save you".
