Xiaomi Redmi note 5 & Redmi note 5 pro : comparision, specs, price, availability & my opinion

     In today's post i am going to talk about two amazing smartphone launched by Xiaomi. Xiaomi has launched Redmi note 5 & Redmi note 5 pro on 14th February 2018. Both devices are good devices at their price point. Before starting with other stuffs let's take a quick look on their specifications.

Specifications of Redmi Note 5:

    Xiaomi Redmi note 5  & Redmi note 5 pro both devices are available in four colours Black, Gold, lake blue & Rose Gold. Both Xiaomi Redmi note 5 & Redmi note 5 pro goes on sale from 22nd February 2018 at 12:00pm (IST) on flipkart & mi.com via flash sale.

>Comparision between Xiaomi Redmi note 5 & Redmi note 5 pro:

    Xiaomi Redmi note 5 comes with common & old SoC i.e Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 whereas Redmi 5 pro comes with latest SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, it is a 1st device which comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC. Xiaomi Redmi note 5 pro comes with dual camera setup whereas Redmi 5 has only single camera. Xiaomi Redmi note 5 pro has 20 mp selfie camera whereas Redmi note 5 has only 5 mp selfie camera. Redmi note 5 has only 4GB of ram in higher variant whereas redmi note 5 pro comes with 6 GB of ram in higher variant & redmi note 5 pro has bookeh effect due to its dual camera camera setup & also has electronic image stabilization (EIS). Xiaomi Redmi note 5 pro has LPDDR4X Ram which gives smooth gaming performance.

>My opinion:

      I think Redmi note 5 device is good at their price range but it has same SoC that is used in Redmi note 4 their is only slightly change in Redmi note 5 if we compare to Redmi note 4. Redmi note 5 has front flash & it also has new 18:9 aspect ratio screen that's it. When we talk about Redmi note 5 pro its 4GB variant is good at its price segment but its 6GB ram variant is slightly overpriced because Xiaomi charge 2,000Rs for extra 2GB of Ram & also the back of Redmi note 5 pro is copied from Iphone X. At 14,000 Rs Xiaomi Redmi note 5 pro competes its own device Xiaomi MI A1 which is Android one device that means it get andrAnd updates faster as compare to other Xiaomi devices. But MI A1 has only 16:9 aspect ratio but redmi note 5 pro has 18:9 ratio. Xiaomi MI A1 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC whereas Redmi note 5 pro has Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC.
