Huawei Y9 (2019): Specs, Price, Availability and more.....

     On 10th January 2019, Huawei has launched its latest smartphone "Huawei Y9 (2019)". It comes with Quad camera setup along with Huawei AI Chipset. Huawei Y9 (2019) is mid range device and it competes with Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Motorola Moto One Power. We will discuss further in detail about Huawei Y9 (2019) before that let's have a quick look on device specifications.

Availability:

     Huawei Y9 (2019) available in two colour variant that are Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue. Huawei Y9 (2019) sales starts from 17th January 2019 via Amazon India.

Physical Overview:

     On the Right side of the Huawei Y9 (2019) has Power On/Off button along with Volume buttons and on the top side of the device has Secondary mic. On the left hand side of the Huawei Y9 (2019) has sim tray (SIM + SIM + Micro SD card) and on bottom of the device has Micro USB port along with 3.5 mm Audio Jack, Speaker and Mic.

     Device has Dual Camera (13 mp + 2 mp) setup with flash (single led flash) along with fingerprint sensor and Huawei branding.

     Huawei Y9 (2019) comes with 6.5 inches 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution 19.5:9 aspect ratio notch display and also has a Ear piece, Sensors and dual selfie camera setup (16 mp + 2 mp).

My Opinion:

     Huawei Y9 (2019) has dual camera setup on front (13 mp + 2 mp) and rear (16 mp + 2 mp) both. The main highlight of Huawei Y9 (2019) is AI enabled camera which has more than 500 different AI scene types by creating 22 category labels to offer real time image optimisation.

     It comes with HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC which is based on 12 nm technology which makes device more battery efficient. Huawei Y9 (2019) also comes in 6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM variant but this variant is not available in India. 

    It has high capacity 4000 mAh non-removeable battery which provides battery life upto two days. Although the device is great at its price segment and it directly competes with Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Motorola Moto One Power.
