Along with two step authentication some platform offer a option to set security question you have to enable that option also and your answer for that security question must differ from actual answer.

For eg: suppose the security question is
what is your date of birth?
you can fill answer as:
your email id, nick name, college name or any other information which is irrelevant from your date of birth but don't add date of birth. By doing this makes difficult to guess your security question's answer. After this if somehow anyone get login to your account then you will get notification and you can change your password.
