     In today's generation, almost everyone has a smartphone in their hands. People also use their smartphones according to their needs, like some people use smartphones for media consumption, some use for office work, some for gaming and some for learning. so it's upto users that how they use their smartphone.But do you know that many users buy their smartphone, but they do not know how to setup their new smartphone. 10 Settings you must do to setup your new smartphone!!!

1. Remove Bloatware apps:

     Many smartphones comes with bloatware apps usually Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo, Vivo and other companies in that some apps are removable and some are not. So, you must remove all unwanted and removable bloatware apps by doing this you can free up some storage of your device also you get neat and clean and smooth user experience.

2. Backup and Restore :

     If you are concern about your data then you must backup your data from older device and restore into new device. You can do this by installing some third party application from Google Playstore or you can use inbuilt backup and store feature.

Settings for Backup you Data:

Android setting> search Backup & Restore > New Backup > Select your data which you want to backup

 3. Set Data Tracking:

     If you are always using mobile data and concern about proper utilization of mobile data then you must apply this setting this gives you alert once you have crossed your data limit threshold which you have set.

To apply Data usage setting follow steps given below:

Android setting> Data usage> Enable Data usage> Set your data limit 

4. Apply Security Lock:

    You must always apply lock to your device in order to secure your device you can use any type of security but most preferable is biometric lock which makes your device highly secure.

5. Setup your Gmail account:

     In order to secure your data and use google services you must have Gmail account. Setting up your Gmail account you can automatic backup your device data on daily basis. Avoid sharing gmail account and their passwords with others this will leads to data breach or your account may got hacked. So, use your Gmail account only. 

6. Wifi calling:

     Always enable WIFI calling on your device this will help you to provide better communication if your are working in low network area. Remember this feature only works when you are connected with WIFI network which has good internet connection. 

To enable WIFI calling feature follow the steps given below:

Android setting> connections> Enable WIFI calling

7. Restrict Background app data:

     You must restrict background app data usage this will free up your device resources which can further utilize for some important purpose. 

To restrict background app data follow the steps given below:

Android setting> Data usage> mobile data usage> select apps which you have to restrict background data.

8. Playstore settings:

     In order to save your mobile data and resources you must disable auto update feature in Google Playstore. If you have WIFI connection then you can select option auto update over WIFI. Remember one thing for proper utilization of your smartphone resources you must update apps that you use daily or frequently. For eg: if you are using Instagram, Whatsapp then update only those apps and apps like Google movies that you never used then there is no need to update.

Settings to manually update your app:

Google Playstore> options (tap on 3 line sign on top left corner> my apps and games> select app that you have to update

Settings to disable auto updates or enable update over wifi:

Google Playstore> options (tap on 3 line sign on top left corner> settings> select auto update apps> choose your option

9. Use Black wallpaper:

      This settings is only for user that have Amoled display in their smartphone. Applying black colour wallpaper you can save you device battery or reduce some amount of battery drainage.

10. IMEI number:

     If you have buy your new device or you are using any smartphone or mobile just take a screenshot IMEI number of your device or write and keep it safe. By doing this you can block your device incase you lost your device or your device got stolen. For your device IMEI number you can check your device box or dial "*#06#".
